Best Practice

We advise and make recommendations only when we have fully assessed your needs. No transactions are ever undertaken without your agreement and complete understanding of the nature and purpose of the product.

In transmitting instructions on your behalf to third parties, we will make it best practice to ensure that we obtain the most appropriate results for you.

Insurance of Service

If you are unhappy with any aspect of our service you may be entitled to compensation from the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS).

Authority

You may terminate (notice in writing) our authority to act on your behalf, at any time without penalty. This will take effect immediately from the date of receipt.

Disclosure of Charges or Fees

All charges and fees will be fully disclosed to you. These will be disclosed in summary form before we undertake any work for you. The precise charges relating to any recommendations will be confirmed.

Treating Customers Fairly

SFIA are committed to providing the highest possible levels of service, as part of this we wish to ensure you understand the services we provide and their associated costs. This should allow you to make an informed decision about the services you wish to purchase.

We embrace the Financial Services Authorities ‘Treating Customers Fairly’ principles both positive and negative. This helps us to ensure we are providing the services clients require and improve in any areas where you may have a concern. Although we have a complaints procedure and considerable indemnity insurance cover, previously referred to, we would rather that clients are immediately satisfied and raise any concerns prior to there being a problem.
